bulk of it will hit early sunday morning 4-7am. official channels are saying it could be a category 2 when it hits (not tropical storm) which will be bad.
I dont think the damage will be significant but the loss of power and flooding could drag on for days, which are just as bad. Especially if you live on a high floor apartment

I'm hearing Tropical Storm , for southern NJ.....from the National Weather Service...or a weak Cat 1.
Sounds the most plausible. I just can't see how this would maintain category 1 strength traveling up the east coast. The more it interacts with land in NC, VA, and MD, the weaker it'll probably be. Not only that, but dryer continental air is mixing with the storm.
With that said, I'm not downplaying the serious impacts this storm will probably have on the region. Even "only" as a tropical storm, there'll still likely be major storm surge, flooding, and some damaging winds.
If you don't have shutters, are you boarding up your windows with plywood?
