i always call up those service companies and threaten to cancel if they dont lower my monthly bill. has worked for everyone except verizon wireless, they wouldnt budge. the key is not being under contract.

I tried that with Cablevision--they wouldn't budge. I just suck at negotiating, but I have heard many people successfully reducing their monthly bills with Cablevision so I don't doubt you. I just couldn't get them to budge.

its easy, just make sure you arent under contract and you tell them you will cancel. when they ask you why, tell them its too expensive. they will start offering.

I pay $147.00 for Cablevision triple play. No HBO or any other add ons, what is a reasonable price per month?
