It's large, black, and plays Blu-Ray discs in addition to regular discs. Includes DTS, Dolby, HDMI, and 1080p. I also know at the time, I bought it at RadioShack.
If you expect to generate any interest on Craigslist you need to explicitly state that it's a Blu Ray player, and you also need to include what the brand is and include a picture (or a link to a picture).
Well guys, I have decided to keep the DVD player. I also deleted the Craigslist posting earlier this afternoon. I bought a 22-inch HDTV on the same day I got the DVD player, and through word of mouth, I went to downtown Newark to sell it. I originally was gonna go to this pawn shop until this guy decided to help me out. We was able to give it to the people who work at this chicken shack for $25. It didn't bother me because any amount I got was enough, but the guy who helped me out gave me $15 of that money and he took the other $10. I was able to go to the FedEx shipping center in Union and pay only $2 to ship 2 of my college textbooks to the warehouse of this site called valorebooks.com. According to the quote I received, I should soon be receiving a little over $100 through direct deposit to my bank account.
Hollywood is always looking for new ideas, so we may be seeing this adventure played-out on the big screen sometime in the near future. I envision Liam Neeson as the protagonist.

...in a world where electronics become obsolete.... one man.... one solitary man.... will take on his life's mission... a 4-year-old DVD player... once cutting edge.... now pushed toward the curb.... MUST be sold!!! Liam Neeson.... with Andy Serkis as the DVD player.... in theaters this July 3rd.
the wife wanted to buy a new one but I said that something like this is perfect for a high quality barely used product since most people will only use them a few months anyway. since she wasn't on board, I had to do it myself. we are both happy now, I would have been happier to pay $75 though.
and if she really wants to, you could buy a new cover on amazon. the unit itself doesn't need to be new, but i could see not wanting the used cover. though, we're fine with it.
