the biggest adjustment for me was the reality of having to drive to get anywhere (i'm not in holmdel, but it's pretty much the same). no walking around the block to the corner store to get the paper, no hopping on the Bway bus, or getting on the Blvd Bus to get into the city. on the other hand, you'll be amazed how you don't have to circle the block 50 times to find a spot either in front of your house (we never had a driveway) AND then have to feed the meter, and how you don't have to pay to leave the city AND how you don't have to parallel park ANY.MORE. LOL

Hi all! I came across this forum while searching neighborhoods in Holmdel. We have sold our home and Holmdel is our #1 choice to move to. There might be an option for us to buy a home in the Rambling Brook area...does anyone know of this area and if it is desirable or not? Thanks so much!
