My favorite driving scenario is when you have a car in the left, middle, and right lane, all driving 55mph next to each other (side by side). This essentially forms a moving road block with a large backup of cars following.

Statistically, those three cars should all have NJ plates. But, knowing NY drivers, I guarantee at least the left, possibly the middle, are NY plates.
On multilane roads, the left lane is always the passing lane. Doesn’t matter if it’s 3 lanes like the parkway, or two lanes like the Blackhorse Pike.
No, she is correcting you.

I truly believe that the drivers in NJ have gotten BETTER over the past 30 years!
When we lived in NJ, the drivers were crazy! People would pass traffic at speed using the shoulders of the highways, among other crazy things.
We've been back to visit two or three times over the past couple of years and they have become much more docile on the roadways. I was literally impressed and pointed this out several times to my DW as we travelled around the state.
