We are rising in south Jersey due to seasonal farm workers. I’m concerned about the snowbirds heading back up from Florida, too. I expect the shore areas will be next to rise as many snowbirds summer there.
Most of the snowbirds have been back for weeks/months. Count me as 1 of them. Most every snowbird I know practiced safety measures as they are older and can kick the bucket easier. People packing the beach/boardwalks by the 100s of thousands in NJ should be more of a concern. Not some old fart that came back a month late from fla.

I work in the Shore area and it's crazy how many out of state tags i seen while driving to work. A lot of my Fb "Friends" from other states came to the shore this past weekend i questioned them they didn't care.
Paranoid Phil is going to end up shutting down the state and were going to suffer.

You just stated you’ve seen many out-of-state tags this weekend at the shore, yet then you say that Phil is “paranoid” for being concerned about a rise in cases. Clearly out of state travelers are going to increase risk everywhere they go. There are a lot of Jerseyans who went to Myrtle Beach and other places/states that are seeing rises.
You may feel he’s overreacting, but if someone is actually after you, you’re not paranoid in thinking someone is after you.

+1 on all points.
Unfortunately, you were responding to someone who apparently prefers Demented DeSantis, the Governor of Florida, who still thinks that nobody needs to wear a mask.
One thing is for sure...our Governor owes everyone a new date when indoor dining will be allowed, especially bar/restaurant owners and casinos. It has been getting much too hot to enjoy a meal outside, and we at least deserve some kind of timeline. I know sometimes casino workers get inside memos before released publically, so if any of you are on this board, please keep us informed.
Sadly, as I have already written recently, we'll be lucky if we can sit down in a restaurant or movie theater in this state by Labor Day at this point. I truly feel Murphy will continue to keep them closed for that long, if not even longer. And worse yet, many of those restaurant workers' jobs are probably going to be lost forever now. That's why I think New Jersey, specifically, is going to have a much more difficult time recovering from this situation economically than many other states out there. And while I do feel precautions need to be taken when it comes to the virus, I do feel Murphy is continuing to go overboard with them. But, that's just me.
Who really cares about indoor dining? Our door dining is just as good.
What matters is gyms... when will our great governor open gyms? Does he realize so many have gone bankrupt?
its not as good if the weather doesnt cooperate. also, a lot of restaurants have little to no outside capacity so they cant operate if only outside is allowed. it should be up to them if they want to open and it should be up to customers if they want to go. government has no right to be a part of this decision.
Does anyone have numbers for antibodies testing? I had me test done today. It will take a little while for results. And the test is t necessarily super accurate. I’d still like to see numbers, though. I think way more people had it than we’re aware of, and that there’s little to no need to keep businesses from fully opening.

Wr don’t yet know how long antibodies last. Some studies are finding a sharp decline after only a couple of months.
