Where are all the Italians in Jersey? Are there any predominately Italian neighborhoods?

Hammonton, Totowa, Fairfield, South Hackensack and Nutley are the top 5. By the way Hammonton reportedly has the second highest Italian population in the United States. Where the heck is Hammonton you may ask? It's pretty much halfway between Camden and Atlantic City just north of the A.C. Expressway.

I can only comment on Hammonton. Its an old-school Italian area. Basically, there are many vineyards and blueberry farms in the area; in years past Italian immigrants worked these areas, their kids and grandkids remained in the area. If you drive through downtown, you'll see many stores with Italian last names. I'm not sure how welcoming to newcomers they are here, but I do know that many, many Hispanics now live in this area as well.

Raritan Boro in Somerset county. All Italian all the time.
Espo's restaurant serves the best basic red sauce/gravy Italian food anyplace. No pizza, this is real Italian. The menu is on the wall.
Located in a residential area and no parking. The place is packed almost every night.
Full service bar and Espresso made right at your table.
