I do look good in green, but I hate football, so it doesn't matter. I was once married to a compulsive gambler. The sound of a football game sends me into PTSD from 20+ years ago from wondering if the rent and food money was going to the bookies.

If careful, a certain amount of Phillies red might be flattering. With reason, she doesn't like football, but the area has much more to offer. She's been to Haddonfield. That's a good start.

I actually became a Blue Jays fan after my sojourn in Ontario, but I don't get to see many of their games on TV in NJ.
I have been to other places in South Jersey, too, ya know! I recently had a job offer in South Jersey, but I don't want to work full-time again.
For now, I have to get a train to NYC for my part-time job, which has been my saving grace as I work through what I experienced the last couple of years, but I won't do that forever.
Right now I'm in Pittsburgh visiting my daughter, and she would love for me to come out here, but I don't know about that. It's a pretty nice city, and Pennsylvania does not tax my NY pension, but still. I don't know anyone else here, she is working and has a life of her own, and I don't know what I'd do out here. My friends are in NJ. So are my siblings, most of them, anyway, but I'm not really taking them into consideration when I think of where I might live. In fact, one reason for wanting to move is that I'm stuck with a homeless brother that I don't think I can ever get rid of unless I sell my condo and leave, forcing him to go somewhere else.

You can watch them lose to the Yankees again tonight if you missed yesterday’s loss
Well Northern NJ was pretty much our last choice when we moved out of Queens. We were planning to have kids and were completely priced out from NYC decently sized apartments or houses. We were both city dwellers so we reluctantly started looking at the commutable suburbs. But we were pretty much priced out of Westchester/Nassau county towns within walking distance to a train. Easter Bergen county is pretty ugly but it is cheaper then NYS suburbs of NYC with much lower property taxes. And of course although the NJT train lines are pathetic embarrassment that do not belong to the First World country, some NJ train towns were fairly affordable. So we found a short sale and bought a modest house 13 years ago. Our experience has been decent, property taxes went up by at least 25% in that time which is manageable. I wouldn't say that we are enjoying our lives in NJ necessarily but we are pretty content here...
