Its been a long good 10 or so years but I am bowing out of NM. Got tired of the 180 mile round trips to buy black socks =) If Burque had of been a viable option I would definitely have gone there but unfortunately it wasnt.

Gonna miss NM, great State for the outdoorsman but right now thats not enough. Ill definitely be back for some biking and fishing though!

Next stop is Texas, moving with my company.

Best of luck wherever in Texas you land. You'll love not having to pay state income taxes, but of course Texas has ways of making up for the deficit.

As for the food, I spent MOST of my life eating Tex/Mex so for me New Mex is too bland and has to darned much cilantro! OTOH, I never developed a taste for fajitas.

We put cilantro in our food? I'm trying to think about a dish my family makes with a lot of cilantro besides salsa. Most don't even call for cilantro.

Good luck Brian.

You're in Clayton, right? Isn't that barely over the border from Texas anyway? It would be useful for people to know what corner of this very large state you're leaving.

P.S. I hear you can buy black socks on the internet now.
