If you want, there is a phone booth on the left by Roberts Realty.
Stop and call either Jane or I. The local calls are free so you don't have to drop a quarter in the slot.
It's really easy to get lost here. I still get lost but I do it on purpose just to do it and find my way back.
You shouldn't have any problem getting away from Sacramento. There's a lot of little side roads off Sacramento but they are marked with other names and you'll see the one that says Cabin.

Wow...a phone booth, and with free local calls! Timberon sounds like even more of a great place.

Thanks!! I'll keep that in mind--but it looks like the chances of getting rained out are fairly high at this point.... If it's really muddy, I won't be up there anyway, but I'll probably be talking to one of you from Alamo before then.

After that muddy nightmare from Los Alamos to Farmington via the Santa Fe National Forest/126, I have NO intention of going where it's muddy. I'm lucky I didn't slide off down the side of the mountain! That was the longest 5 hours of my life, since I couldn't go very fast. Driving on that sticky, slick as glass clay---no, thanks!!! My stupid mapping software still routes me that way if I plug it in. It would have been so simple to have turned down to Jemez Springs and back up 550 from there. It is 30 miles longer that way....and 4 hours closer.

Yep Catman, isn't that cool that we have a phone booth that has free local calls? I think it helps alot of people that come here to visit and realize we don't have cell service.

Cathy, it may rain and some of the roads may be muddy but nothings washed out so there shouldn't be any problem driving.
If anything, the atv'ers are going to be a muddy mess. I hope the rain holds off tomorrow for the sake of our dear vendors.

I'll holler at one of y'all before I leave here Sunday..... :-) The forecast has some areas possibly getting up to 4 inches, so hopefully that won't happen!

I wish you could be here too JDTH. There will be probably about 30 people.
Yesterday I met a couple that get on CD to read threads. They are from Fla. and here for a visit. Bterrib will also be at the picnic along with looking for a house here.
It was great seeing some of the other posters yesterday as some of them just got into town.

I hope you all had fun today!
