It poured on base and was bone dry when I got to town at about 230ish.
In spite of the dire forecast for the mountains, the "rule" seems to be to not produce more than about a quarter inch of rain per day! Today it actually measured 0.3 inch after showering most of the afternoon. But the real benefit, as I've mentioned, is temps staying in the 60s each day.

Correction - total for the daylight hours yesterday ended up at 0.6 inch. But only partly cloudy as night fell and no further overnight, and kinda odd that the last two days there have been no thunderstorms? Wonder if the air is too cool to generate thunderheads or what?
PS I detect a warming trend too - about ten degrees warmer this morning than the past several days.
