In spite of the dire forecast for the mountains, the "rule" seems to be to not produce more than about a quarter inch of rain per day! Today it actually measured 0.3 inch after showering most of the afternoon. But the real benefit, as I've mentioned, is temps staying in the 60s each day.

It got up to the mid to lower 80's down in the basin. The humidity is killing me though. I've been away from the Northeast US for way too long...lol

It looked like the rain was here to stay then the sun came out and stayed out.

Correction - total for the daylight hours yesterday ended up at 0.6 inch. But only partly cloudy as night fell and no further overnight, and kinda odd that the last two days there have been no thunderstorms? Wonder if the air is too cool to generate thunderheads or what?

PS I detect a warming trend too - about ten degrees warmer this morning than the past several days.

I hope it's nice today. The skies are fairly clear in Timberon. Don't want it to rain on the parade!
I'm still getting stuff together for my booth at Western Day. Procrastinate? Me? Nawwww

Finally got to see fireworks for the first time since 2003. While in the AF I was either working or deployed.
