She'll have all of the advantanges as a suburb of Denver, with all of the amenities.

I had been looking at Colorado Springs, but I am not sure that I could take the sheer size and traffic of a Front Range City. You do get a lot of square footage plus a basement there, though. It's not entirely off of the list yet.

102 in Alamogordo right now.......the indoor pool felt good today. I love that first cold shock when you dive in, and it was even better when the heater was off.

My backyard might be small but I'm finding a way to fit a pool into it!!!

Colorado Springs is not bad. Kinda dull, though. I found it pricey with not very good food, but the hikes are nice!

Well, I'm used to not very good food (in fact, most here is outright lousy)...but what I did find is that you get more square footage for the money in many places. The majority of the listings I looked at had both a garage and a basement.

I'm just not crazy about siding, which is very common there.

You can swim in it April through October, too.

I just never wanted the maintenance of a pool!

I don't mind doing pool maintenance. The relief that swimming in a pool provides will be worth it.

How much rain did everyone get this past weekend. Is this typical for monsoon season here?
