I'll say it again - Alamo is surrounded by mountains and it's a beautiful view. The weather is good too. Not too hot and not too cold which is what I prefer most of the time.
On the medical side of it, I've been in touch with some nice doctors in the area that are competent(sp) and know what they are doing.
I'm very picky on restaurants so I won't say anything about that as everyone has there opinions on them. Stella Vita is one of my favorites. The food tastes fresh and has a good taste to it.
The people are friendly especially people you run into at Walmart. LOL

I don't mind Alamogordo too much. I just dislike the heat. Certainly better than Ruidoso, it seems like there's slightly more to do


Jaxart brings up a good point, people really know how to put on car shows around here. I went to the one at the racetrack last fall, I don't think my jaw has ever hit the ground like that any other time (I loooooove to drive and loooooooove cars)
