The main thing they said was, once you're in.....you're in. These programs are for families that are trying to get ahead. A lot of the people that win these lotteries are working families, and i've noticed a lot of single moms in the building. The program is to help you out. If you establish a better life while in the building, they have succeded. An increase in family or a change in job will not change your living situation. If you have a two bedroom...you will always stay with your two bedroom.

Hello. I am new to this forum thing. And I would just like to congratulate everyone on getting accepted. I have an initial interview today and I am extremely nervous and excited. I really pray that I get accepted because my rent went up ridiculously and my neighborhood has become unsafe. They broke into my vehicle last year, they just stole mirrors off of 15 cars, various shootings, management turned for the worse, etc. I also have a child that I am raising. So I'm banking on this. Hope all goes well with everyone. Wish me luck.

Good luck today on your interview. This will be a really great opportunity for you and your child. Make sure you have all your paper work because they tend to always ask for more..6 months statements, at least 3 months of pay stubs, certified letters if need, w2 for the past three years etc. The more organized the better.

@sancocho omg are you serious? it's taken this long still? have you called up, what's the latest update though, just city approval?

quick question for everyone that's in, they kind of messed up on my rent statement...says I have a previous balance, as well as this month..a total of two months is due?!? yea I need to call them lol.

Thank you @joyero. My interview is at 12pm. Going for a 2 bedroom. And I have all the documents they requested. If they should need anything else, they'll get it in a flash. Lol
