Okay, so I did a little investigating. That building is NOT York Hill. Dunno why it's listed on Streeteasy as being 1540 York Ave. It's not. It is indeed on 81st St. next to the little hotel with the green awning.

Awning may still be there but that hotel closed over a year ago.

Has been sitting empty ever since but given the amount of new development in that area most are betting someone is attempting to assemble a number of lots for a tear down.

The dry cleaners (Max's) next door was bought out/shut down/closed about the same time as Gracie Inn as well.

You may be right. I did not pay attention to the dates on the Google Maps window. Thankfully it's not that building, as the studio looked very small! From the info on this thread, it seems the studios in York Hill are spacious? Does anyone have one and can take some pictures? Do the apartments have floorplans online somewhere?

I live in a Mitchell Lama now and unfortunately we don't have this info online, so I won't hold my breath for York Hill either but it never hurts to ask

I'm a bit confused. If the last log number on the site is #518, where do these new low log numbers fit in?

I received a log of #5xx. Does that mean there are less than 100 applicants until I am called, or is it an entirely different list?
