We are on the Steinway side as well..right over the garage. We may be used this type of this noise, so it does not affect us. I don't hear any neighbor noise which is great. My old place, we could hear everything next door, upstairs and downstairs. I don't want to jinx anything but all is good so far. I empathize with those affected. Anybody know what the delay is with the courtyard?

No updates on the gym or courtyard, but I think the building will be complete in another year.

I have no regrets. Just wish they allowed pets.

Zero regrets. I guess it really depends on your previous living situation. If you already had a nice big newish apartment then this is just another building to you. Myself, growing up in Jackson Heights in the 90s, moving to corona then Astoria into a railroad apartment, dealing with landlords, roaches, drug parapanlia littering the hallways, cramped apartments, spotty heat etc, this place is a godsend. Your mileage may vary.

Anyways, I saw that they have checked my credit yesterday. "Tenant Check" is the company this management company uses to check credit. I imagine I passed the credit check as I received a phone call to forward more financial information today. I am debating on taking it or not. It's such a hard choice!

What are the odds that the OP (me) with a high lottery number in the 29,xxx's and no CB preference who posts, "I have as much chance as a snowball's chance on a warm June day" - to win this kind of lottery? Ironically, it may be a warm June day when I move in there - should I decide to take it

Moral of the Story: Never Lose Hope!
