I agree with the disorganzation. Im a CB resident too. I had smooth interview and qualified. I submitted an appeal regarding an issue out of my control and provided all the necesary documents and havent heard back. I've called multiple times and no answer.

Went for an interview on 10/24 for a 1 bedroom, log #44,xxx. Qualified and fit the salary requirements, but received a letter today saying I was waitlisted. Sucks. Is it possible to find out where I am in the waitlist? As mentioned, I've had a difficult time getting a hold of anyone that works there/any kind of response.

Someone from the property called me yesterday and tried to help me qualify for the higher range 1bd although I've asked for the lower range apartment. He said that he would put me in the waiting list for the lower range because they are all gone but if I take the higher one, there is an apartment available for me. However, his manager later didn't approve that I'm qualified for the higher one, so he put me on the 1bd ($1,135) waiting list ...

I picked out my apartment on Saturday, they gave me 2 choices, which I obviously went with the bigger one of the two. 5, including mine, out of 6 1 bedroom $1135 apts at that rent amount have already been assigned. Was told what others have already mentioned, move in date would be as soon as the CO is issued. I was told if there is still no CO issued 120 days from the date that my paperwork was originally submitted on my behalf to HPD, I would have to resubmit all paperwork again and get it approved by HPD again, meaning recent paystubs etc. The woman who took my security deposit said everyone at the property managemnet office is hoping for the CO to be issued before January,

That is great news, congrats. Was the security deposit required on the same day that you chose your apartment?

Had an interview in early November with a log number of 5xx. Sent additional supporting docs 48 hours later. Received a call a week after the interview to confirm interest in the apartment and say app in being sent to the city for review. They ran my credit the same day. Waiting to hear if application was approved by the city. Fingers crossed.

QUNYC, how much was the security deposit?
