My company also received and returned the form. I'm assuming that since they sent the forms out we must have passed whatever first vetting stages are.

The city issued a temporary certificate of occupancy for the building, I can't remember which floors, so hopefully that should cause things to move a bit faster. I've also heard that the lower floors are reserved for the lowest income bands and that those units will most likely be leased first.

HR at my work told me that they got a request for income verification from 535 Carlton. So that's a good sign I guess!

My mail delivery is kind of crap at home, is anyone receiving rejections (or acceptances) through email, or just letters in the mail? I'm afraid of missing a rejection letter bc my postal delivery person sucks.

Is there a way to find out what forms were sent to employers? There are MANY nasty HR people out there who would gladly "accidently" throw out any kind of letter about an employee getting an affordable apartment.

Basically I am asking, if the management companies will reach back out to you after a certain amount of time saying they didn't get the form back from your employer. Or do they just eventually send you a rejection letter with option to appeal stating they never received the forms? It's the one of part of this puzzle that confuses me.

My management company (Wavecrest) called me when my employer didn't respond in 3 days. They were in a rush to send my app to the city so they took initiative.

Hey Aquarious , thats a good thought about it , i did ask myself that question and i did ask the person whos hamdling my file. Accordingly to the management company , they will keep trying to reach your job by calling them many times or mail them butttt , it will delay your application and yes you will be getting a rejection letter . Before that happen they will keep in touch with you and explain you that.

hey limelight -- i can't answer this specifically, but i bet they will take your award letter as fact but then find a way to investigate it. if the money comes from a govt. agency, the agency will release that info to MHANY no problem (they're used to those requests). private insurance probably will too, but they'll be slow about it.
