They have to be using an energy company that provides the electricity for the units to run. The vendor then bills the management company and in return they bill the tenants. I'm sure they are using energy saving equipment as its a requirement within the new building standard in NYC. Fans are less expensive, but damn I hope it's not going to be too expensive. Who in the can sleep in the heat.
btw - I was told by the super, that those units are not only Heat and Air but they also are Humidifiers and Dehumidifiers.
