In any case, best of luck to anyone with a low number; the building looks beautiful.

I checked today and my (really high) number is up.

82,9xx - OUCH. That is my highest number ever. Fortunately it is one of those where the rent's still too high for me to take advantage, anyway.

Mine is 26k these have washer-dryers in unit so those with low log numbers are very lucky.

Where did you go for the appliances? Home Depot? PC Richards?
We also got a fridge and stove from PC Richards - they had a better selection and lower prices than the Home Depot. From what I've seen standard apartments usually only have cabinets on one wall of the kitchen (with the gas line on the bare wall), so you can put any fridge oven or range you want in there as long as it is narrow enough to get through the (normal-sized) door. We ordered a fairly large fridge and it barely fit through the front door (even with the fridge door off), so be sure to measure carefully before you buy one.

Hard to say what the "average" Penn South resident has. Given the large number of long-term residents and income limits on new cooperators, probably much less fancy than the average new apartment owner in the city, but then again considering what the apartments cost residents may have more disposable income than most people in similar tax brackets.
