Sorry I meant to write back earlier and answer the question, but I kept forgetting to go a-digging to hunt up my app again... I chose "no preference", and I indeed was only offered to tour non-balconies. Which suited me fine as I was working on the "que sera, sera" front on the topic.

Thanks, misskittytalks. I will be happy to take whatever is offered, but I was curious to see how it all works.

Good to know, thanks! I was really curious how they did it. I specifically requested a balcony which I'm sure delayed me getting a place by a few years. Oh well, I'll be super excited when I finally get that call, whether it be in 5 months or 5 years!

Default quarterly update

Hi All,

I was wondering about the "quarterly" update, so I just want to throw this out there and see what anyone thinks. Originally, the list was supposed to be updated in June, but as we know, they had some problems and it was delayed by 6 weeks. Now I'm wondering if they will update it again in September or wait until the list moves more. I know that by speculating about this it won't make the list move any faster, but I was wondering what your thoughts are.

Thanks!

hkcg

I'm not so sure about the frequency of updates. Our letters did state they would be quarterly but I called the office a couple of times in June and was told both times that the waiting list is always updated in July. Confused much?

Thanks for making those calls, Mrspeel77. I guess we shouldn't check the wait list status until the end of October.
