I saw a nice variety, including one with a balcony that I'd take in a heartbeat. But I'm high on the list (#20) so I don't expect it'll be available for me. I saw one G (which came with a dishwasher).

Wow, a G with a dishwasher! I'm shocked one would fit in that kitchen!

I'm wondering if internal people and external people are mixed on these lists. The internal people get first crack. It's nice you saw a good variety, and you still may be offered something this round.

I'm on the one bedroom list and I have not heard back from the viewing a month ago.. I have moved three spots since then.
My number is in the 50's and i was around 20 for choice on all five apartments I saw. I'm guessing I'll be moving on to the next round.

Just checked the external waiting list this morning for the One BR, just moved another 9 spots. I guess there must have been a lot of apartments this time around?

Yes the number's changed late yesterday afternoon. List numbers went down and the hold number went up to 80.
I truly hope it doesn't take another 3 months for the next round.

Default Penn South Allocation?

Hello! (new to posting here so not sure if i'm posting in the right place)

I was finally contacted to be offered an apartment and had my first meeting where they went through all the information. I'm in the process of applying for a Mortgage to pay for it and I'm noticing the communication is a bit slow, so I'm becoming a bit anxious since I have all my savings going into this. Maybe it's just my nerves but I want to do everything I can to secure this.

I'm curious about any issues, warnings, things to be careful of or aware of during the allocation process. I just want to understand any issues others have had or would draw attention to?

Any tips much appreciated!

That's Great, Congrats! I'm very happy for you.
I can only speak for myself. You are now ahead of me in the process so I have no idea what to look for.
You may want to start s new post with your question so everyone can see it. Good Luck!

I just got a call about viewing apartments, I had 2 options. I have to start gathering all my tax returns and other paperwork for an interview in about a week and a half.
