I don't see why anything would be different for Penn South residents now as opposed to any other time. I'm sure they're all hunkering down like everyone else.

One difference is that PS is a NORC so we have a higher-than-average percentage of people in at-risk groups. Other changes are typical of any other business or institution with a large number of individuals; apartment renovations are all on hold, deliveries of large items (e.g. furniture and applicances) are limited to emergencies only, community groups and rooms are shut down, etc.
I want to find out for the people that you put in the initial application where you send in with the $200 money order, do they need to live with you presently or it's okay to live on their own as long as when you get approved for an apartment, you all live there as your primary.
Unfortunately, Penn South is not a Mitchell Lama so the Mitchell Lama rules won't help you much. Your best bet is to e-mail them directly and ask, though I am almost positive it doesn't matter as long as you move in with the right composition and have the right composition on your application.

Looks like Penn South has updated their website to say that they're still processing 2019 submissions as of mid-March and that operations have been altered due to the coronavirus. Totally understandable and I expected that, but still a bit disappointing. Not much else to look forward to these days.
For some, sure. But being able to save in times like these is a privilege.
I may still have my job, but my roommate doesn't and will be moving out at the end of the month. Now I'll be covering the full amount and dipping into my savings. It's a bummer to say the least, for me and her.
Hi everyone hope you guys staying home and safe. Anyone knows if I can allowed guest at Penn South for 2-3 months? My parents sometimes come to visit me from FL. Is that will be a problem?
