Not bad at all - I guess that's subjective.

For us, 3 bedroom - full family, use heat, cook, in unit laundry almost daily, PC's and large TV.

For December - it was $185 or so. I think that's very reasonable for everything on electric.

Hey -

Looks like im back at square one

I've emailed my agent several times in regards to my application status. She then finally responded.
Her response was that a different (in which she cc'd) will be able to help me. However, no word from the new agent.

I'm so sad.

I was finally emailed again yesterday requesting additional 6 paystubs and to clarify some zelle deposits!

What is the next process after this on? I'm feeling real good about this.

They should be sending your updated file to HPD for approval once they have all your updated documents...crossing my fingers for you!

How long after I've submitted updated documents should i expect to hear from them? Will they confirm that my file will be sent over to HPD for final approval?

Also, does the credit check happen before my files gets sent over to HPD or after?

I'm sure these questions have been answered before - I'm just very anxious as marketing agent seems to never reply back to any of my questions.

Note - personal experience from me. Everyone else please chime in...

Seems to really depend on the BG agent doing the paperwork. After the intake person took all my docs and updated docs...it was sent to compliance. After that, it was sent to 1 of the mangers...luckily I had his number - so I called directly and he told me it was sent to HPD for approval. After that, it was 4 days - I got the approval call from BG.

Seems like you are stuck at the agent gathering all the docs. Is Debra D, handling your docs? I can only recommend you keep emailing and calling them - leave messages. Do it until they tell you otherwise. If you meet all the requirements for the building, dont let them leave you aside.

Credit check - For me, it never happened. I mean I signed the release for it, but I didnt pay any fees. And my credit report was never checked as far as I know.

Latest article on the Dime:

Claims to be about 50% leased...I would guess more like 40-45%. For 3br, I'm guessing 2-3 taken. 1 - 2 left. Lots of studio to 2br left.

If I remember correctly, you are in consideration for other buildings right?

Anyways, I'm happy to answer any questions(non-personal)

Thank you Dime for the response!

Kenneth was the last person that reached out (January 28th). He's the intake and eligibility specialist. My issue with BG is that they do not communicate whatsoever. They ask for all these documents and no word after submission. I've been emailing them all (Debra, Michael and Kenneth) and neither have yet to respond. When they do respond, several weeks later, its asking for updated paystubs. It's been going on for 3 months now. I just sent out an email to HPD and they immediately answered and stated that they'll inquire for me in regards to status.

I've decided to stick with The Dime as transportation is literally around the corner and my children's school is down the block. The developments in Greenpoint, were okay. But the commute to work was going to be a hassle as there's no direct train to NYC.

A friend of mine was asked to submit documents in December and moved into her new place Feb 1st for a development in Bushwick.

Breaking Ground is terribly incompetent (and dismissive) and you really do have to stay on top of them.
