Since I ended up in the 60% ami group, due to partial unemployment benefits coming in, I chose the studio to stay on the safe side. Had I been placed in 40 or 50% I would have taken a 1BR since its a lot more affordable for me. Once I stop receive partial UI benefits and just rely on my regular income , a 1 BR would be a huge load on me with the 60% rate I qualified for

If anyone is looking for an update...
I was contacted today to resubmit my documents as they have finally reached my log number. Fortunately for those waiting I decline. I actually won another 1br apartment in which I would not have to change my commute at all unlike this one. Plus I was not sure if it was for a 1br or studio which I really didn’t want.

I feel as if I'm on a merry go round with this management office.Im also on the general population list and we are the last ones to be considered for any Apts.My log #2XXX isn't a high number because mine is right in the beginning.I hope and pray to god they call me.I spoke with management a few times and was told I was definitely on there list and that they haven't got to general population list yet.Anybody else on the GP LIST???If so please let me know what's up what have they told you?Etc Etc

I don't know what's left but I was contacted today by email and asked to submit my documents if I was still interested because they have reached my log number. I don't have any preferences so I'm in the general population group and my log number is in the 6XX range.
@ninicakes I was called today asking me what bedroom size was I looking for… long story short I was put on the 2 bedroom waiting list. Couldn’t really hear what she was saying about the 1 bedroom but it sounded like she said she only have 1br in the 110 ami…

Thanks, Quana! I qualify for the 1 and 2 bdrm in the 110 ami but I'm already in a 1 bdrm so it's not worth it for me to move to another 1 bdrm in another borough (I live in east harlem) if they contact me, I'll ask to be put on the 2 bdrm wait list as well! Good luck to anyone out there still waiting to hear back from this development!
