Just wanted to share my experience so far. So I first received an email from CVW on December 10th telling me to submit all the required documents. I had until December 20 to submit everything.
I didn’t hear anything again until the end of March when I received a call asking if I was interested in an interview. I went for the interview on March 30. Signed a ton of papers. Had to submit more stubs and statements. And I was told my documents would be sent to HDC for review and that the process should take 6-8 weeks and if approved I would be contacted if there was a unit available for me.
Yesterday I got a call from the specialist handling my application and she asked me if I was only interested in a 1Bedroom or if I was open to a Studio as well. I highly prefer a 1BR but at the same time I would take a studio regardless and I didn’t want to mess up my chances at winning a unit.
Now I’m wondering if the reason I got a call is because I may have possibly been approved and they are looking for a unit to show me? Don’t want to get my hopes up though. By the way my log # is 4xxx
and I have no preference.
If you don’t mind answering, what’s your AMI% ?

I think I fall into either 40% or 50%... small chance it could even be 60% tbh, since this past year with the pandemic , and receiving some partial unemployment benefits have really made a big difference in the income I first reported with my 2019 taxes.
So I decided to give them a call to get an update and I believe they getting together the waitlist. I was told my application is being put on hold. I was going for a 2 or 3 bdrm. In the 30% to 60% ami. Hopefully I get a email stating otherwise. My log# 4xxx with cb preference
