At 23 years, I would assume massive shenanigans.

I don't know why buildings even bother opening up their waiting list if people are going to have to linger for years and years. What's the point?

I guess so! I "resigned" from an ML list not long ago and got most of my application money refunded after I figured out the wait would be at least 15 years.

I contacted the rep for this building to confirm receipt of my application, being that deadline is Oct 4th. She replied " give me a call within a month because she has too many applications to sort out". I asked about the deadline to which she responded that HPD has given an extension on the deadline date as well. I hope that my application was received, I did send with signature confirmation as well.

we still haven't received our application?! and we have a log number on the waitlist, according to the ML Connect portal.

It feels like I'm trying to extract information whenever I make contact. They do not seem very organized compared to metro management whom I'm dealing with for another lottery.

Does anyone who received their application already have the phone number to the management company? We still have not received our official notification and application to pay the fee (even though we have a number) and apparently the deadline is supposed to be October 4 - soon!

the studio/1 bdrm list was open due to HPD error/miscalculation in this bldg because there at least 20 years of wait worth of old (from 2006) applicants on the current list for studio/1 bdrm prior to inner transfers (add another several years) and veterans from this lottery (add approx.15-20 years ) . 2 bdrm and esp 3 bdrm wait from this lottery will be 20+ years shorter than studios (let alone 1 bdrm) hopefully especially that there are more of them in the bldg.
