I'm not sure if the application fee is partially or fully refundable, either, anymore. I thought that I read that the fee is non-refundable.
The application fee is refundable if you are rejected by the development at any point in the process. The first $50 is non-refundable if you withdraw, I believe.

Okay, not sure, but the announcement said non-refundable. I believe that in years past for Mitchell-Lamas the application fee was higher, like $200, and a portion of that was refundable, but they lowered the application fee amount and it is non-refundable. I think a while ago they would say in the announcement if the application fee is partially refundable. But as far as I see now, non-refundable. But I think lower.
They were probably making good money off the application fees $$ collecting interest in the bank while hopeful applicants waited years and years to have their number called off the list.
Thanks for the reply, I Kind of figured that was the case given the size of the building. I'm kinda stuck in a jam. I have another opportunity that might come about soon, but it's much further out in deep Brooklyn, and I rather the location at RM. Don't wanna miss out as I desperately need a place but that commute from out in Bklyn to my midtown work place would be a burden.

If there are only 109 or so units, split that between the different sizes of apartments and that reduces the vacancies for your type even more. Unfortunate, I know... Wow, I didn't expect to see results so quickly. I applied to Penn South to no avail last year. I received a log number in the 220's. Very exciting after lurking the Penn South City Data forum for years. There is such a wealth of knowledge about the interworkings of the Penn South process and almost nothing at all about Rosalie Manning building. Hopefully someone hears back about the application/viewing process soon, like Kingelz83 with that double digit number!
I have log# 3* for a 3bedroom. Let us pray! I read over that class action lawsuit and out of the 45 buildings audited, Rosalie Manning was at the top of the list with "serious" irregularities.
I have a log number of 5* for studio/ one bed but I never paid an application fee and I've never done this before and it's making me anxious I'm not sure what to do
You don't pay the application fee until they contact you to let you know you've made it onto the waitlist. I would assume you'd be hearing from them shortly about that.
