Waterside is very nice. I lived there eight years, and would go back if I could afford it.

Do you know if they allow in-unit washer/dryers?

They do not. But the laundry rooms are nice enough.

Did they end up calling you to view an apt?

No, but I completely forgot about responding and figured it was for the best!

How does one cross over the FDR drive to walk around the neighborhood? Are there access streets under the FDR?

There’s a footbridge that goes over the FDR Drive at East 25th Street, and also a road (With sidewalks) that goes under the FDR at East 23rd Street. You can also walk under the FDR Drive at 34th Street.

I just got an email to affirm my interest but it also says my log number (in the low 7,000s) has been reached for further processing. I just signed a lease for a new place though at 7 Dekalb (City Point) in Brooklyn with a base rent that's $400 cheaper though so I will have to pass...

I do say base rent though as Waterside is offering two months free the first year (although City Point is also giving me a month free). Anyway, wish they had come forward a couple of months ago, I would have given it serious consideration.
