Waterside is a gorgeous place to live in especially if you have a unit facing the water. The apartments are also large which is now rare in newer construction. The downside is that the apartments are expensive and don't seem to have in unit W/D.

Correct. And building is 48 year old. Unless you have no choice, why pay higher there - compared to brand new apartments you move into as a first tenant ever!

should I be hopeful/excited? Or nah? I'm new to the NYC Housing lottery.
Also is this for a place or a spot on the waiting list? Am I already on the waiting list? Idk whats going on :<
That is your number on the waiting list. As with all of these situations, you just have to wait and see. It’s impossible to predict if you’ll be called because we don’t know how many vacancies occur each year.
Thank you for the clarification. I was wondering, since I have a Housing Choice Voucher, can I just apply directly? Does anyone know their credit requirements? Are there alternatives to submitting a credit report?
