I applied on 10/25/21 and later received a Log # of 2,XXX. I have both CB & NYC Employee preference. I received an email on 1/12/22 saying that my app was deemed eligible and to submit my paperwork and submitted the requested that same day. Emailed the marketing agent on 1/17 to obtain confirmation of receipt (confirmed receipt on 1/18). Marketing agent called me on 1/24 to schedule phone appt and on 1/25 I had my "interview" where we went over my docs and they requested a few additional docs and I submitted the docs on the same day. On 1/27 I happened to check my housing connect account (I check everyday) and I saw that my marketing agent uploaded Banking Explanation Affidavits. I had to explain each deposit from cashapp or zelle and get that notarized which I did and submitted on 1/28. Most recently, on 2/3, the agent sent me 3 docs via email that I had to sign and submitted the same day (consent to check my credit/background form and 2 other certifications). I am now waiting on the following steps in this process and praying that I get the official approval for me and my unborn son.
The agent was very nice and very receptive when it came to my questions and the process is honestly moving pretty quickly and I think because I made sure to get the stuff in within the same day or the 24 hours later and maybe luck lol. Check your email and housing connect everyday...I saw things up there that even give me some kind of notification that is was there.
