Been living here for about 2/3rds of a year now in a one bed.

Pros:
Amazing staff all around and great amenities (beautiful lobby, great rooftop, well equipped gym, pretty great package room / attendants, etc.)
Location is almost as good as it gets in Brooklyn— TJs, Target, food hall, Fort Greene Park literally just 2 blocks in either direction. Amazing access to trains.
Good management— they’re responsive and get things fixed pretty quickly. Great communication.

Cons:
Lottery units don’t have the same appliances as the market rate ones. Fridge was what disappointed me the most.
Units are a bit small but I’ve adjusted and it doesn’t feel so small now.
Amenity spaces close at 10 which kinda sucks but is understandable since there are units above the amenity spaces / overlooking the roof deck. Gym is 24/7 though which is great.

All-in-all, would highly recommend the building from my POV.

Great review, thank you! Glad you are enjoying your lottery unit!

That’s very helpful! Are the appliances stainless steel? Do you still have a washer/dryer in unit?

Yep, for the most part, stainless steel stove and dishwasher. Fridge has stainless steel-like exterior but feels plastic. Pretty decent W/D in unit as well.

Anyone that recently went through the process with this lottery have any sense of how many 1-bedrooms are left? I just got called to submit my documents.

Default Switching from 1 person to 2 people

Has anyone had any experience with their income levels changing since originally applying? When I applied for the lottery I had registered as a single person. My lottery got picked last week but now I'm trying to move in with my partner someplace. Would I be able to qualify as 2 people for a 2 bedroom apartment even though my original application was 1 person? Our combined incomes are within the range for the 2 person 2 bed apartments.

It’s worth asking you marketing agent! I’ve been told I could not change it “once the household snapshot” was taken, but each agency may handle it differently. I also was told that a two bedroom was reserved more for families - not couples. But that could be wrong too!
