Is anyone else awaiting HPD approval? Mine is for 196 Willoughby .. was submitted on may 25 and it’s been 8 business days now (not including the holiday last Monday). I’m super nervous!

I called HPD and the one gentleman was very nice and said he would reach out to my project manager at HPD for an update. However, I also emailed and got a very general response of “your file has been submitted please wait for the agent to reach out once it’s been processed”. My lease is up July 1st so trying to push the approval as quickly as possible. I can live with my bf if needed during the time I’m awaiting approval (if I still am). But I know this process usually only takes 1-2weeks. Anyone else waiting?

Any advice for people who were approved in the past? Thanks!!

Would they deny you after you’ve viewed your “assigned”unit?

From my experience they shouldn’t because it’s based on your ami percentage.

I'm kind of in the same boat with you! I submitted all my documents, completed all the others given, and now I must wait. I checked in to find out if anything else is needed, she told me they will reach out if anything. Sigh, I am also on a time crunch, but, I do hope everything works out for you!

It stinks! So yours wasn’t submitted to HPD yet? I’m in that step (last one) and thought I’d know by now.

Have you heard of HPD denying people? My agent made it seem like once they check everything out HPD just does a final glance.

Not that I know of, I'd say when your file is with HPD, you're already 90% approved.
