I’m waiting on a different building but the agent told me today if approved by the city that I only had 3 days to accept and sign the lease or I’ll be rejected. I heard of 5 day turnaround but 3?!

I use to think it was like 30 days. But 3 days is really rushed.

Hey Mylove2020, any update on your end? I've finally finished saving up my first month and security just in case I get contacted.

No one is holding an apartment open for thirty days while someone makes up their mind "yes" or "no".

Flexibility on lease start/move in date, yes that is something which can happen. That is sign a lease on 14 August that doesn't begin until 1 September.

Difference? They've got you on dotted line accepting unit and are now legally bound. Other way by "holding" something open person or persons could turn around and say after two or whatever weeks of LL waiting "no", I'm not taking unit. That means LL has to scramble to find someone else.

Has anyone that’s moved in received their electric bill through the portal? I haven’t yet and not sure how it will come through in the new rent portal?

Appeal?? Did someone get rejected with a lower log number? Did the agent say anything about going in the wrong order?
