What I hears was that if you have a salary job is takes very little, if it's hourly it takes more and if you're a freelance then they really really take their time.

This is true. I have a salaried job and it takes very little time. But when I was selling online and having my salaried job, they really took forever and in many cases sent me my documentation back to explain things over and over until finally getting rejected. I think that the simpler things are, the better it is to get processed easily.
