That’s a good log you have but they won’t probably call for you until 2024 and it might be a long shot depending on what’s your AMI

Once yo got in they won’t charge you based on the future income changes only additional hike in rent will be the 3% or the 5% increase on your next lease renewal

You can’t be on 64th St and 10 minutes away? Do you mean by car ? That would be in Woodside? In FH there are roads, drives and avenues. Also, how much rent would you pay at Apex, is it less than $1600? Then it may be worth it.

I am by 68th Ave, not really sure that I want to live by that area near all the highways. I’d like to see if I may qualify on lower AMI band when the new ones come out in May. If not, I’m definitely not considering moving. I pay less now.

To be clear about something; 3% and 5% increases for RS units only applies to *renewal* leases signed between October 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023.

RGB hasn't even begun working on increases for this year which would affect renewal leases signed between October 1, 2023 and September 20, 2024.

Historically at least in recent memory RS increases have run about 2-3% for one year and 3% to 6% for two.

Without a crystal ball it isn't possible to predict with any accuracy what future RS increases will be, but safe bet is at least between 2% to 4% for one year lease renewals. Days of 0% or 1% are gone and ain't coming back unless BdeB by some huge error in cosmos in made mayor of NYC again.
