The statement above is false. Zip code 10039 is in CB 10. Consult the maps below and see if you agree. Follow 5th Ave north from east side of Central Park. CB 10 appears to include some streets above 145th.

I don’t claim that every address that has a 10039 zip code is in CB 10. However, many addresses are.

Assuming that a Community Board and an a Zip Code are the same thing, or that a Zip Code will always be entirely inside a CB is a mistake.

Call 311, and confirm what CB you live in. Call the CB 10 office for assistance.

It is possible that a mistake has been made.

They also told me that I'm not community board 10 and my zipcode is 10039. I know thats false. Too be honest its doesn't seem to be any type of structure going on why are you requesting documents and not following up. At this point i wont be contacting them any longer whatever is meant for me wont miss me…

I suggest confronting them with facts. Ask for contact info for the executive level.

DM me your address leave out the unit number. If you wish. It seems like an error is being made and someone at the executive level should be confronted with that.

for those in 10039, i heard they'll be calling you soon, for you DO fall in CB10. there was a discreptency amongst their staff. people have been calling the CB10 office about this. hold tight.

Thanks for this. The idea that at least a portion of 10039 is not in CB 10 irritates me. Perhaps someone very careless and irresponsible person just looked at the Zip Code for the building 10027 (?) and assumed that that zip code was the only one in CB 10. Sad.

Do you know how much long they'll be on CB? I was told that there are no more disabled apartments left. So, I'm wonder about the other apartments. The project seems to be unorganized.
