Some humans live in RVs or tiny homes and walk around outside. In NYC, you could walk around forever and never get bored!

Lifestyle makes a big difference. For a real homebody or someone in a transit desert or with physical limitations, this would be small. For a young one with a life and some extra cash to go out or lots of friends who have bigger places, it's not a thing.

Lots of people make due with apartments between 250 and 350 square feet (give or take).

In end you do what you have to do to make things work.

People have spent most of their entire adult lives in ”tiny” NYC studios or small one bedrooms. Especially those who have rent regulated units that are below market rate rents.

They moved in at 20 or thirty something and leave feet first in a box at > 70

I've not had the privilege to live in anything bigger in nyc, ha. I once lived in a hallway in Chinatown. Sometimes you can be broke as hell but having an amazing time!
