most politicians when they leave want to have a base for when they live without their post they held . dont want to **** anyone of as they look for all that private money thats out there when they leave public office. bloomberg dont care cause he has all the moolah in the world
Bloombum is only worried about his legacy as the Czar of NY. Thats why he has done all these ridiculous things like the bike lanes and the stupid pedestrian plaza in Times square. He cares what people think, i have hated the guy since day one, so i'm praying for a massive blizzard like this city has never seen before so everyone can point the finger up at his throne and say I TOLD YOU WE NEEDED MORE MEN! 40 years later and people are still talking about how Lindsey messed up on the snow.
Like most of us here, I really need/want this job. Im remaining hopeful. Nothing has been written in stone yet, and since there has not been any OFFICIAL word given to us by DSNY that they are either going to a) cancel the class or b) delay it, then theres still a bit of time to negotiate and change minds. It probably would have been atleast another week or so before they would make calls for final processing, so anything can happen between now and then. Like one poster mentioned earlier, lets will ourselves in with positive thought and prayer(for those who pray). Theres no sense in being glum about it just yet, when we really dont know for sure what the heck is going. Lets wait for official word first.
