KC isn't old by world standards, and not really that old even by US standards -- Kansas City, Missouri was founded in 1838. But yes, it's two cities: Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri.

Also St Louis/East St. Louis, Philadelphia/Camden, Albany/Rensselaer (both NY), etc.

Yeh, I don't think it's possible for a city to cross state lines.

Ive actually thought about this a few times before but just with Hudson County not Bergen county, I mean Hudson county seems more NYC than SI imo atleast

Obviously not. NJ should give that area to NY, which will be hard to accomplish of course.

You still haven't explained why you feel this way. Just because two areas are "dense" and urban does not mean they should be politically connected.

Ummm.....At that rate NYC will have to incorporate the entire metropolitan region.

Also, while I do see a geographic liking toward this thread debate, realistically, doesnt NYC have too much to govern as it is?

In any case, I say we exchange Staten Island for Hudson county.
