But then what about Kansas City? That seems like a pretty old city. (Unless there are technically two Kansas Cities on opposite sides of the Missouri River)
KC isn't old by world standards, and not really that old even by US standards -- Kansas City, Missouri was founded in 1838. But yes, it's two cities: Kansas City, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri.
Also St Louis/East St. Louis, Philadelphia/Camden, Albany/Rensselaer (both NY), etc.

Ummm.....At that rate NYC will have to incorporate the entire metropolitan region.
Also, while I do see a geographic liking toward this thread debate, realistically, doesnt NYC have too much to govern as it is?
In any case, I say we exchange Staten Island for Hudson county.
