This has been a weird Frankenstein thread, coming back to life after a 9-year hiatus. It started with Mayor Bloomberg and Council Speaker Quinn having their constituencies greatly enlarged by these proposed deals.
If we are indeed going to give Hudson County and some Bergen County bergs to N.Y.C., can we then please bring back Palisades Amusement Park to Cliffside Park/Ft Lee? We'll have to move the apartment towers that took its place somewhere else, though. Maybe down toward the edge of the Hack meadowlands? Maybe someone on this thread can start the planning for the proper proposals?

That's not true. Bergen County certainly IS a part of the Tri-State area.

Tri State area - lol. Most people here just think of NY (Long Island and upstate) and NJ. And maybe PA. They rarely include CT in their talks. Why isn't Fairfield County discussed more often in tri-state area discussions?

The NYC tri-state area consists of NY, NJ, and CT. PA is not part of the tri-state area. I have not noticed people on the NYC forum referring to PA as part of the tri-state area.
