Bboy, take the LIRR train and come to Long island for one or two days. I remember seeing a sign saying hiring in places like pizza place or shoprite. If you want exact address. I can give that if needed. I am not sure how much they pay but let's assume they pay $8 per hour. 8x40=320 per week. Monthly you can make $1280. You can find a room to rent, check Craigslist like $400 per month.

How much is the LIRR/What stop would I get off at? And do these shops have a number I can call?

Id like to make sure these are not delivery jobs that require drivers license. A lot of pizza shops are exactly that. but shoprite should be legit. I also have cashier experience so that would be a huge help.

What about applying for college?
You're clearly very bright and resourceful.

You could use some of the loan money to live in the dorms.

I don't know if taking out loans as a homeless teenager is a good idea. The kid needs an immediate source of inco,e; debt will only make his life more difficult.

With absolutely no financial support what so ever from parents there's a good chance he would receive grants to cover most of it.

I have found that most car dealers will hire just about anyone as salespeople. You are paid by commission so it doesn't really cost them much. Though generally I think you are guaranteed at least minimum wage. Plus if you speak Russian that will be attractive as they no doubt get some Russian customers. You can probably even contact many dealers online.

Just show up clean and try and dress as well as you can.

Do you need clothes? I probably have some stuff I don't really care about. Most of it is mens medium, maybe some larger shirts. I have a heavier jacket that I don't really ever use and would like to see have a good home. If I have pants they are probably 32 waist. I am in Chicago but happy to pick up the mailing cost if you have an address. If not I can probably figure something out.

Do you have a phone? You can probably get some free services using your CPU. Google voice will allow you to text from a computer. Giving a phone number to employers will be helpful.
