I went to a police precinct to register my handheld electronics. While there I told the officer the problems I was having at my apartment building. He offered to come to my house to look at my security efforts. I was hesitant and asked if he could come in plain clothes, he told me no. So I told him I'll think about it.
After a few months I decided to call him to ask if I could take him up on the offer. He came to my house and when I saw him I told him he looked different. The first time I met him he was very metrosexual but I didn't feel any strong attraction to him. Now seeing him again I noticed a few things, like his hair grew out and he had a different pair of glasses on. He asked me what did I mean different? I just said idk, different, but what was going through my mind was sexy. During the time he was here I didn't flirt with him, I didn't think I was his type, and he didn't show any indication he was the least bit interested in me.
Now fast forward a few days and I get a call from a fellow officer saying he was the original officer's supervisor. He said he was calling to ask what I thought of the officer, that he was taking a survey. I didn't know this was customary with the NYPD. I didn't really think the police would take the time to survey one particular citizen, especially with my situation that hasn't been concluded. Since then I've realized I was disappointed that I didn't hear from the original officer and also realized I'm very attracted to him.
What do you think? Do you think he was using his fellow officer or supervisor to feel me out?
Well I'll have to go up there to get the suggestions the supervisor had for me. The original officer said he'll get back with me in a month to see how things are going around here.
Before I go up there again I wanted to get opinions before I make a complete fool of myself. I also want to get my hair done before going.

I've never received a "survey" call when I had to deal with NYPD, whether it was business related or for something personal. Ever.
What exactly did they ask you and what exactly did you tell them?? If the reason for the call was to see if you were interested in him then count your blessings that he didn't contact you again. Sounds juvenile. Heck, he just could have slipped you one of these:

^ Those notes are making a come back in adults. My 35 yr old bf at the time gave one of those to the girl he cheated on me with. I found it when I was cleaning the apartment as we lived together.

I don't know if that's funny or just simply bizarre!
so, what did they ask you when they called about the "survey"?
