Lol, lucky your not in our district. We like to throw water balloons and annoy the hell out of the bottom guys on leaf trucks when we pass them on our routes. You would be ducking for cover hahaaa. But they know it's out of love and a rookie welcome, nobody f*cks with our junior men except us. Hope your in a good district Moody, enjoy this time it goes fast...

Brother I agree with you 99% of the time on the forums, but your off base on this one. Your not on the job so you don't get it. Us doing that is a sign to the new guys to have fun. This job is not easy, we bust our a** out there. Every new group of guys goes through things like this and in turn they do it to the next group as they gain seniority. There is no malice involved, it's all in fun. Trust me we take care of the new guys in our district better then a lot of places, I know your smart enough to understand. Some guys don't even talk to newbies, or give them an ounce of help. We not only help them, protect them during probation, but we have fun with them as well.

Im sure there is no malice intended but throwing water balloons at someone is really immature. I would expect that of teenagers.
There are probably loads of ways to initiate new guys other than being doused with a water balloon like its 10th grade.
