If you want more overtime when there isn't snow, you'd want to work in manhattan. Alot more opportunities for OT there with all the parades, festivals, and street fairs year around. I know guys who close close to 20 sundays/holidays a year in Manhattan

I think you'll like it better. Great food if you like Chinese. I could go for wo hop. Then a few year later you can transfer to SI when it suits you

this is a long shot i bet but is it possible to get a job with dsny with this exam that doesnt involve dumping trash into the trucks?

Tong Wong off the corner of Allen and pike. Great Chinese food. At least you got your transfer. I'm stuck at least another month.

I got out of the bx last month to a bk garage and hate my new place, was hoping to get this transfer. I would rather be back in the bx then where I'm at now.

I know everyone wana get close to home but I always had the mentality of feeling the place out..personally I don't wana be in Chinatown but I'm going to be there now and I Gota give it some time and see how it is..if it wasn't for all that commuting from SI to bx I would of stayed..or if I had someone to carpool with I would of stayed..where you trying to go now?
