I don't understand the question. CDL for DSNY candidates is over. The physicals are to give a possible list for hire next year.
The question is in regards to the statements on the forum stating that hiring for next year slim either unlikely or very low percentage/posibilty.. so I am why dsny is did they have cdl training class and running physicals for up 1000 more candiates with lists numbers of 8000 etc...

They actually mail letters into the 9300's... friend got his but unfortunately had to tell him extremely slim chance of getting actually hired

Who said chances they are hiring next year is slim? You're over thinking this. Hiring is done this year, so relax and take a step back. Come back in March to find out if they are hiring in 2015.

You can't be hired until you're 21 anyway so relax. Takes about 6 months to get a score. The rest depends on your score. The last list was a strange anomaly so don't go by that
Gotcha, I'm just anxious to start working. I've been filling out apps with no success and i'm at a point where I'm just not happy.
By the time I receive the results (praying that I score high) I should've reached my 19th birthday, hopefully I don't have longer than a 4 year wait after that.
