June 19th i start my cdl training at floyd bennet field. I assume its mon to friday and then the following week is the road test? I was in the 3rd orientation class and the woman said we have a pretty good shot of being in the july class. Medical was may 30th. Everything went smooth. No xray or hearing because it has been under a year.
I think what he meant was they got up to 982 in one year. Who doesn't want the job, fails DT or medical etc etc.
Lets see how this list moves once the first two classes are put in.
It aint' over till its over!
I meant the hr lady said we have a chance at September but to her knowledge she said they hired 500 last year which is false it was just over 300 so if she thinks we have a shot with them getting to 989 for 500 people which is only 2:1 when in reality it was 3:1 then we have a good chance and possibly can make August

Very good point.
All depends on medical now, I've heard so many stories regarding failed medical results, that some of them aren't the persons fault like the EKG machine not working probably as the suction when they put it on your chest didn't take lol
We have more than a chance that lady was spewing misinformation saying they hired 500 last year to get 989
how would the lady, who is the director of HR and is directly involved in hiring all Sanitation workers, give off misinformation? because its not "misinformation" especially considering many of those list numbers under 989 got their cdl
