To be honest, when I think of Sutphin Blvd., I think of Crown Fried Chicken (or Kennedy Fried Chicken). Have bought take-out from both locations in the past, when I used to pass through Jamaica after work in Five Towns. Was at Crown Fried Chicken this past fall (jury duty selection) and the chicken/fish was as good as ever.
I love Kennedy Fried Chicken

I'm curious if all of them taste the same more or less as they're not really a chain

I really hope so, although Jamaica Ave. itself will probably need to be cleaned up a bit first. That strip from Parsons to 169 St. could be a lot better than it is now.

Jamaica was never cold but it might be getting that way now, and that would be far from hot.

He's afraid of being gentrified out.

Because if even downtown Jamaica is gentrified, that says a lot of poor people are done with NYC.

Jamaica Queens already had a vibrant middle and upper middle class population , yes there are lower middle class people but they are not the majority , that's why when you google Wikipedia Jamaica Queens, you see middle class . Jamaica is lacking INVESTMENTS , Jamaica already has a population that has the means to afford certain things . For example I am upper middle class and I live in Jamaica Queens , I wish there were more stores like gap , macy's , J C penny , Banana Republic , target , more restaurants ( not fast foods) etc etc so that people like myself who have the means and can buy in those stores to buy . So I would not need to go to Manhattan or other areas to find those stores . So that's what lacking in Jamaica , there is a demand for things like that , because there is already a middle class and upper middle class population, so the word gentrify would not necessary be the right word , more and more INVESTMENTS that's what needed
