Trump's ICE Raids in NYC and nationally have begun. I have heard reports that ICE last night nabbed people on Roosevelt Avenue, Jackson Heights. Clearly Queens real estate is going to take a hit, and the same for Upper Manhattan, the Bronx, and South Brooklyn.

"ICE has the legal authority to conduct raids and detain immigrants in New York City, regardless of NYPD cooperation. Under President Obama, ICE agents conducted hundreds of raids in the city, at courthouses and private residences."
Is it your contention that Ice raids under Trump are going to affect the real estate market more than the hundreds of raids that took place under Obama ?
Also, why a special effect here: " Clearly Queens real estate is going to take a hit, and the same for Upper Manhattan, the Bronx, and South Brooklyn" when the biggest raid of the week was here: "The leak comes on the heels of reports Saturday night that ICE had arrested and detained five men of Mexican nationality in Staten Island.
The only thing that is clear is that the ICE raids have been ongoing for years already and have had no affect on NYC real estate so far.

Sooooo can you please elaborate on what "take a hit" means, because if your claiming the property value will decline because Federal Agents are doing the job that out tax money paid them to do since the inception of their departments I'm confused. Less illegal immigrants equals a healthier economy and more jobs for NYC residents.

If you've ever been to those areas in central queens its obvious that the only reason why the homes there can sell for close to a mil is because there's like 30+ people living in illegally partition houses each paying like $200 bucks a month for rent. Absent the illegals you'd need hords of hipsters again living in illegally partitioned homes to support the real estate values. The problem with depending on non-illegals to support the illegal rental income is that all it takes is a call to 311 and that's the end of it.
Nice!! Now get those raid and deportation numbers to at least double Obama's numbers.
I love reading "Trump conned his voters...", "disappointed yet?" and other such nonsense. He's keeping promise after promise and the left is melting down further and further.
Great maybe I can get a seat on the bus or subway now
This is the very thing that effects everyone and Americans just don't realize it. Along with the added costs of insurance, taxes, and a multitude of other costs that we as Americans bear from people who are here that shouldn't be here.
