Yeah. At least after the rain, it's over. Snow on the other hand, lingers for days depending on how cold it gets and just becomes gross with piles of garbage on top of everything.

This morning I only see a bit of snow on some car roofs but not on the ground.
just not cold enough. If these storms came through back in December / January we would be buried in multiple feet of snow

I swear to God I remember my dad taking me to 2nd grade in a BLIZZARD WITH HAIL pelting me on my tiny head back in the early 80's! We have a little snow now and cripples the city, lol.

After Day one of kindergarten, I made my own way to school, sometimes through hip deep snow (Pennsylvania.)
Worst was trudging home without boots in a storm that started after getting to school. In 13 years of lower and high school, school closing never occurred even once.

They had better/other things to do. This parents taking kids to school is a very new thing, probably a TV sitcom thing.
